ECCO – Sporthaus Schuster Munich


The Danish shoe label Ecco stands for first-class craftsmanship, beautifully shaped design and high-quality leather. Ecco current displays its competence at Sporthaus Schuster in Munich, in the large, nearly 10-meter-long shop windows and inside the building on a wonderful action area with circa 40 square meters of space. Our design concept primarily reflects the idea of taking the customer along on a journey through Europe. The scenes in the shop window conjure images of hiking, exciting city trips, rock climbing and alpinism. The protagonists are represented by shoes and special accessories, e.g. genuine tools on loan from museums. The staging is further deepened inside the building, where specially designed presenters allude to abstracted mountain-like shapes. The fields of application for the products are shown at various heights and depths to create a spacious three-dimensional effect, which is further enhanced by monitors and touchscreens displaying the images. A genuinely special highlight is the workbench, where everyone is invited to »do it yourself«: with a little assistance from Ecco employees, visitors can make leather bags, cases for eyeglasses and other attractive items.
