The whole world of golf in one place
Golf entrepreneur Patrick Wolferstätter at the new opening
Under the motto “Play it. Love it. Feel it.” the brand new Golfers world promises an all-round golf experience of superlatives. Embodied by its inviting show workshop, the new store and the service centre at the Golfclub München Eichenried. We asked Patrick Wolferstätter, founder and managing director of Golfersworld, about the background. The keyword is further development, in keeping with the credo of the golf club “Eichenried moves”. In 2010 the trained PGA golf instructor Patrick Wolferstätter founded the Golf Academy at the GC München Eichenried and continuously expanded it with up to 10 pros. “2018 was our most successful year, we had a very good workload. I could have continued like this. But anyone who knows me knows that I want to move forward and enjoy being an entrepreneur”. “We offer tailor-made services in a class of their own.”
This gave rise to a strong idea that combines all facets of golf: “With Golfersworld we bundle all activities in one place and offer tailor-made services in a class of their own. An important pillar remains our own core competence, namely golf instruction at a high level – for individuals as well as for groups of companies. For the other areas, we have selected the best of their profession”.
Clearly reduced lines define the individually manufactured shop elements made of white powder-coated steel. Integrated digital signage monitors can be used with various brand-specific content.
Specials from Golfersworld for the Eichenrieder will always be present during the trips, such as an upgrade or other add-on, such as a special driver service, for example. Here, too, the word “customized” applies, i.e. tailor-made for the customer,” says the entrepreneur. “Experience and service are our top priorities.
At the same time, Golfersworld is also the new contact point for the youth and team sector. “I imagine that our pros will be on site to give advice on the right equipment, for example. We’re also planning a club check-up for the kids,” says Vincent’s father, 7, and Victoria’s father, 10, both of whom have of course already had a taste of golf. “Since our focus is on the experience, we are also planning small club workshops and presentations, lectures, fashion shows, etc.,” promises Patrick Wolferstätter. Of course Golfersworld will also be present at the BMW International Open in the Public Area. “With our 9-hole after-work series, which we have been carrying out for years for the BMW branch including the accompanying Golf Clinic, and our golf sport events in the BMW World, we are something like BMW’s home and yard golf school,” laughs the Golfersworld boss. And he immediately announces the next development: “From July to December we will expand the Learning Center on the Driving Range with a fitting area with test laboratory and recreation room. Eichenried is on the move!

“We’ll be offering a lot of Kjus Oakrieder logo merchandise.” Golfersworld understands itself as a completely new experience scenter: Service is capitalized with us. For example in the shop: Within 48 hours we can order everything from the catalogue of our well-known partner Golfhouse for trying on. If you don’t like it, we will of course also take care of the return shipment. We will offer a lot of Eichenrieder logo goods from Kjus, for children from Callaway. There are rental clubs from Callaway, for right- and left-handers, for children of U.S.-Kids Golf, and E-Trolleys.”
